1994

Room installation consisting of an object, a ten-part series of pictures, a cloverleaf wallpaper, and a multiple-edition book. Sculpture: plywood (18 mm), felt pen, parquet varnish; composed of twelve parts; diameter 215 cm, width 57 cm. Picture series: acrylic paint on cardboard on plywood, 27 x 27 cm each; ten parts. Wallpaper: on paper or directly on the wall, variable dimensions. Multiple-edition book: numbered and signed book object with two original linocuts each and 39 b/w copies; 10 copies, format A4.

The sculpture consists of a ring of twelve skull-shaped wooden elements. Each skull features pictures of newspaper clipping pictures showing figures from the world of business and politics along with fragments of text. The multi-coloured wallpaper has the appearance of a strip of four-leafed clovers, but on closer inspection it also reveals a roundel of skulls.

Rauminstallation, bestehend aus einem Objekt, einer zehnteiligen Bildserie, einer „Kleeblatt“-Tapete und einem Buchmultiple. Plastik: Sperrholz (18 mm), Filzstift, Parkettlack; aus 12 Teilen zusammengesetzt; Durchmesser 215 cm, Breite 57 cm. Bildserie: Acrylfarbe auf Karton auf Sperrholz, je 27 x 27 cm; zehnteilig. Tapete: auf Papier oder direkt an der Wand; Maße variabel. Buchmultiple: nummeriertes und signiertes Buchobjekt mit je zwei Originallinolschnitten und 39 S/W-Kopien, Auflage 10 Stück, Format A4.

Die Plastik setzt sich ringartig aus 12 totenkopfförmigen Holzteilen zusammen. Jeder Totenkopf trägt die aus Zeitungsausschnitten stammenden Bilder von Männern des wirtschaftlichen und politischen Lebens mit Textfragmenten. Die mehrfarbige Tapete mutet als Band vierblättrigen Klees an, entpuppt sich jedoch bei näherer Betrachtung ebenfalls als Totenkopfreigen.
